វាទមហាទម្មគន្ធី

យើងបានបញ្ចេញកម្លាំងជាច្រើនដើម្បីជីកដីបំបែកថ្មរាប់តោន​ ទម្រាំតែនឹងបានជួបប្រទះពេជ្យមួយគ្រាប់ ប៉ុន្តែយើងធ្លាប់បានព្យាយាមសូម្បីតែ​បន្តិចបន្តួចទេ ក្នុងការចាប់យកនូវគ្រាប់នៃសេចក្តីមិនពិតចេញ​(ពីក្នុងខ្លួន) ហើយស្វែងរកនូវគ្រាប់ពេជ្យនៃសេចក្តីពិតនោះ ?

Hundred of tons of earth and stone have to be excavated by mean of hard labor before even one diamond is discovered. Do we give even a friction of this labor to the removal of the rubble of untruth and the search for the diamond of  Truth?

ព្រះជាម្ចាស់មាននាមច្រើនឥតគណនា ប្រសិនបើឲ្យជ្រើសរើសព្រះនាមណាមួយ ក៏គួរបានដល់ “ស័ត​” ឬ “ស័ត្យ”​ គឺសច្ចៈ (សេចក្តីពិត) ដូច្នោះសេចក្តីពិតក៏គឺព្រះនាមព្រះជាម្ចាស់នោះឯង។

Innumerable are the names of God ; but if a choice were to be made of one, it would be Sat or Satya, that is, Truth. Hence verily Truth is God.

ប្រសិនបើមិនប្រកាន់យកអហឹង្សា (ការមិនបៀតបៀនគ្នា) ក៏មិនមានផ្លូវដែលនឹងសម្រេចសេចក្តីពិតបាន ព្រោះហេតុដូច្នោះ ទើបពោលបានថា អហឹង្សា គឺព្រះធម៌ (ច្បាប់) ដ៏ឧត្តម ។

Realization of Truth is not at all possible without Ahinsa (non-violence). That is why it has been said that Ahinsa is the supreme Dhamma (law).

ការស្វែងរកសេចក្តីពិត ជាមួយនិងការប្រតិបត្តិខ្លួនតាមតាមគោលការណ៍អហឹង្សានឹងមិនមានផ្លូវប្រព្រឹត្តិទៅបាន ប្រសិនបើមិនប្រ​ព្រឹត្តិព្រហ្មចារី (ការលះនូវមេថុនកម្ម) មិនលួចទ្រព្យ មិនមានទ្រួព្យសម្បតិ្ត មិនមានការភ័យខ្លាច ផ្តល់សេចក្តីគោរពដល់ទដៃ ស្មើ ៗ គ្នា លះបង់ការប្រកាន់វណ្ណៈ ។ល។

The quest of Truth and the observance of non-violence are impossible without Brahmacharya (celibacy), non-stealing, non-possession, fearlessness, equal respect for all religions, removal of untouchability, and the like.
